Abstract
The purpose of the study is to innovate eco-friendly fashionable products and at
the same time bring out the job potentialities in procuring raw materials and
manufacturing the products. This may motivate women to become
entrepreneurs at minimum investment. This study exhibits vividly that it is
cent percent possible to extract fibres from tbe leavers of non-food crop Agave
americana. These fibres also have good affinity towards dye. These also lend
themselves to prepare handicraft items and accessories.
