Entrepreneurship activities contribute towards the revitalization of the economy of developed countries and act as the engine of economic progress and job creation in developing countries (Zaitol et al., 2007). Currently, entrepreneurship skills are considered as one of key attribute for students if they want to successfully navigate the job market after graduation. Many employers prefer students with entrepreneurship expertise when hiring entry-level positions. They consider these students to be more accountable for their own actions, have team work skills and know how to execute. Students with entrepreneurship experience are also considered to have better communication and sales skills that are necessary to be successful in business today (Gem, 2006). Hence it was found to be essential to assess the entrepreneurial skills among college students. For the present study 500 college going women students were selected, among which 250 students were selected from three different government colleges and 250 students were selected from three private colleges by purposive sampling technique. Interview schedule was used to assess the various types of skills possessed by the selected students. Private\aided college students possessed better entrepreneurial skills when compared to government college students.Item Educational Needs of School Going Children(2012) Thilakam, M R; Kalpana, MItem Exploration of Domestic Water Management Practices and Paradigm Shift Using IoT Enabled AI System for Devising Water Conservation in Ingenious Homes(2023-05) Sofia Jannet, J; Thilakam, M RItem Exploring the Possibilities of Enhancing the Yield of Mushroom and Introducing it as a Self Employment Avenue(2000-01) Thilakam, M R; Vijayalakshmi PurushothamanItem Inculcating Entrepreneurial Skills among College Students(2017-12) Kalpana, M; Thilakam, M RItem Introducing and Assessing a Portable Vermicompost Device in Selected Households(2006-05) Sudha, P; Thilakam, M RItem Perspicacity of the Civic towards Demonetisation(2017-04) Rajalakshmi, S; Thilakam, M RItem Resource Availability and Academic Stress among Higher Secondary Students(2018-10) Anurathi, V R; Thilakam, M RItem The Stress Experienced by Homemakers of Male Migrants Families(2011) Thilakam, M RThe wives o f migrated husb an d who h e ad the families face inter related managerial and so c ial problems such as difference of opinion with in laws, in currence of debt initially over loading of re sp o n sib ilitie s, fatigue, difficulty in decision making an d in child r e a r in g and o th er personal problems which cause s tre ss in th em .Item Use of Biomineralizer for Composting Urban Kitchen Waste(2022-05) Akshathaa, I; Thilakam, M RItem Use of Convenience Food in the Selected Households(2013-05) Chaimila Leisan; Thilakam, M R
