dc.description.abstractQuality of life is one of the oldest and most persistently investigated issues in the study of adulthood. This study was conducted on a sample of 100 elderly persons (50 male and 50 females) selected from 26 old age homes through stratified random sampling and 500 free living elderly consisting of 250 males and 250 females using the WHOQOL - BREF tool. This study revealed that free living males and females expressed more satisfaction than their counterparts residing in old age homes'.en_US
