The protection efficiency of seed coat of Coffea Arabica fruit extract on the corrosion of mild steel in 1 M HCI and 0.5 M H2SO4 were evaluated by using Gravimetric method. The study was carried out by varying the parameters like inhibitor concentration, immersion period and temperature. The maximum efficiency was obtained at 2.5 %(v/v) concentration of the inhibitor in both 1 M HCI and 0.5 M HzS04. The protective action of the acid extract was maximum at 12 h in both 1M HCI and 0.5 M H2SO4. In the temperature study the maximum efficiency was obtained at 333 K in 1M HCI and at 323 K in 0.5 M H2SO4.en_US
