Abstract
An attempt has been made through this research work to developed mecidnal heib extracts treated fabric. In this vwxk, medicinal herbs such as Rdnus Comrruiis (leaves
and seeds), Datura metel (leaves with fnJts), Aloe Vera (flower ),Abutilon indicum (leaves), Solanum surattease (Leaves), Cocdnia grands (Fnits and lea\es),Aloe vera (
leaves), Caido spefrruri halicacabcm (Leave), have been selected for finishing hundred percent cotton denim fabric using dp method The finished fabrics have been
tested for its antinicrobial activity using standard test method ENISO 20645 and it is conduded that datura mold ( leaves with fnits) have good antibacterial activity on the
seleded derim fabrics when corrpared to other herbs enhanced the wearing capadty of the denim fabric for an extended period without any skin/dermal irritations/infections
and bad odor.
