The inhibitive nature ol polyvinyl alcohol-anthranilic acid (PVAAA) on the corrosion of mild steel in 1 M IlCl solution under various conditions has been investigated by means of weight loss, potentiodynamic. polarizalion and AC impedance methodsrThe studies show! that polyvinyl alcohol-anthranilic acid exhibited excellent inhibition property. The potentiodynamte polarization studies reveal that the -polyvinyl aleohoTanthranilic, acid acts as a nuxed typcvinhibitOT. The adsoijption of the polymer on the mild steel surface was found to obey Langmuir andTemkin adsoipUoniiotherms.en_US
