A new simple method for tlie preparation of urea and oxalate ion selective electrode-its preparation and analytical application
    (2010) Thamarai selvi, J
A lieterogeneous precipitate has been as ion carriers for the preparation of urea and oxalic acid selective membrane sensor. The electrodes give near-N'emstian response in the linear concentration range of 1 M to 1x10' M \s ith detection limits of ilie orders of lO"* M . fhe stable potentiometric signals are obtained \Gth in a short time period ot 3 seconds. Tlie effect of pli and the effect of medium have been studied, found to give a better responses selectisit) coefficient \alues pot ( log ) and ( log o^al'cacid n.xed interference method. Tlie sensors have also been used as urea determination in fertilizers.

Potentiometric Determination of Urea and Nitric Acid using Urea Nitrate as an Electro Active Material-its Analytical Applications
    (2010) Thamarai selvi, J
A heteroueneous precipitate have been as ion carriers tor the preparation of urea and oxalic acid selective membrane sensor. The electrodes gisc near-Nemstian response in the linear concentration range of IM to lx 10"’ M \'.iih detection limits of the orders of 10 ' M. The stable potentiometric signals are obtained \sith in a short time period of 3 seconds. I’he effect ofp H and th'e effect of medium ha\e been studied, found to give a better responses selectivits coefficient \alues K K (log urea )and(log Nitric acid ) esaluated using fixed interference method. I'he sensors luise also been used as urea determination m fertilizers
