    Development of food formulations using low cost, locally accessible indigenous foods is recognizable and is one of the strategies established to be effective in improving the health status of the community. Dietary supplements in differentforms combined with normalfood intake have shown earlier an improvement in bone health and the targeted nutrients are made available for body synthesis. Ihe present studyfound out that the developed basic health mix and combinations were highly acceptable and through analysis of various nutrients wasfound to he nutritious. 'Ihe health mixes were found to he microhiologically safe. 'Ihe cost of the health mixes were also found to he inexpensive and suitable for regular consumption.
