The dye decolorizing fungal strain was isolated from reactive dye effluent contaminated soil. It was identified as Aspergillus fumigatus based on lactophenol cotton blue staining. A.fumigatus could tolerate and biosorp reactive dye under optimized conditions. Maximum decolorization was observed at 3"* day of incubation at 40“C and the optimum inoculum concentration was foimd to be 3% at pH 8. These results suggest that A.fumigatus is more effective for color removal from reactive dye effluent.Item Decolorization of selected dyes in aqueous solution using Helianthus annuus(2017-04) Navanithi. The dried non-viable fungal biomass exhibited maximum dye removal at pH 7.0 with temperature of 30°C and 3 g/l fw/vj biomass concentration, after 24 h contact time. The results showed that the non-viable biomass possessed high efficiency for dye removal from textile effluent.Item Decolourization of Textile Dye Effluent Using Selected Agro Waste and it’s Reuse for Dyeing(2012-04) Asha Anand; Kalaiarasi, KItem Development of Enzymatic Scouring for Kalangal Wool(2010-05) Usha Nandhini, T; Kalaiarasi, KItem Eco - Friendly Natural Colorant from Wood Waste of "Dalbergia Sissoo" and It's Application on Wool Fabric(2023-05) Kriyati Ashish Shah; Kalaiarasi, KItem Eco - Friendly Natural Dye Extraction from Borassus Flabellifer Fruit for Colouration on Cotton Fabric(2023-05) Nivetha, C; Kalaiarasi, KItem Effect of Different Types of Spunlace Nonwoven on Wound Pads Exudates Handling Capacity Characteristics(2018-04) Keerthana, M; Kalaiarasi, KItem Enhancing the Flame Retardancy of Cotton Fabric Using Sustainable Tree Gum(2022-05) Gayathri, J J; Kalaiarasi, KItem Enzymatic Denim Processing Using Cellulase and Laccase(2013-05) Deepa, K; Kalaiarasi, KItem Enzymatic Extraction of Natural Dye from Arnebia nobilis and its Application on Cotton(2014-03) Sankaragomathy, G; Kalaiarasi, KItem Enzyme Assisted Natural Dye Extraction From Saraca Asoka Wood and Its Application on Silk Fabric(2015-03) Anu, V; Kalaiarasi, KItem Evaluating the Efficacy of Amylase Extracted From Bacillus Species for Desizing Selected Cotton Fabrics(2009-04) Hemalatha, G.; Kalaiarasi, K
