Phytochemical analysis of the Gloriosa superba seed showed the presence of Carbohydrates, Alkaloids, Glycosides, Flavanoids, Steroids, Terpenoids and Phenolics; Gloriosa superba tuber showed the presence of Carbohydrates, Alkaloids and Flavanoids; Gloriosa superba leaves showed the presence of Carbohydrates, Alkaloids, Flavanoids, Steroids and Terpenoids.
